Will Dave be the next Cricket Superstar?

Hometown: Perth

Age: 21

Skill: Pace Bowler

As David puts it, “cricket became my ticket to making new friends”.  As a kid growing up, David and his family were constantly on the move, with David living in the WA towns of Kalgoorlie, Perth, Mandurah and Karratha, and Rockhampton in QLD.  All up he attended seven different schools, ultimately graduating from Hale School in 2007.  David was just five years old when he started playing MILO Cricket, and with each move he would join the local cricket club as it helped him quickly become part of each new community.  The highlight of his junior career was being selected for WAs under-17s side.  In 2009, David moved from Subiaco Floreat Cricket Club to attend, and play for, the University of Western Australia, where he remains today.  He is currently studying for a Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Economics, and also works in the uni gym.  As well as cricket, David plays soccer, AFL and basketball.
