Peri Gilpin

There are many who consider comedy the hardest form of acting, and there are some, like the very talented Peri Gilpin, who make it seem so easy. Gilpin starred as Roz Doyle, the producer of Dr. Frasier Crane's talk radio show, on NBC's long-running, Emmy Award-winning show, "Frasier."

Gilpin most recently starred opposite Dean Cain in Hallmark's Hall of Fame Movie for CBS "Crossroads: A Story of Forgiveness." She was also seen in the Lifetime Television original movie "For The Love of a Child," based on the true story of two Nobel Peace Prize nominees who help rescue abandoned and abused children. Her other recent works include voicing the role of Professor Kate Corrigan in the Hellboy animated movies "Blood Iron" and "Sword of Storms." Some of Gilpin's film credits include roles in "How to Kill your Neighbor's Dog," opposite Kenneth Branagh and Robin Wright Penn; the digitally-animated feature film "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within," with voices also provided by Alec Baldwin, Ming-Na, Ving Rhames and Donald Sutherland; the independent film "Spring Forward" with Liev Schreiber, Ned Beatty, Campbell Scott, and Lili Taylor; and Neil Simon's Emmy-nominated film for Showtime, "Laughter on the 23rd Floor," starring opposite Nathan Lane.

Additionally, Gilpin has recently guest-starred on some of TV's hottest shows, including "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Desperate Housewives," "Medium" and Lifetime's "Awakenings." Further demonstrating her diversity as an actress, she also lent her voice to a variety of characters in five episodes of Mike Judge's smash hit animated comedy, "King of the Hill."
