Byron Saxton - Rookie
Byron Saxton is no stranger to the WWE Universe. This former ECW play-by-play announcer has traded in his designer suit for tights and is ready to get in the WWE NXT ring. A confident, articulate and versatile competitor, the college-educated Saxton will not only use his strength, but his intelligence, as a weapon.
Before joining WWE, Saxton grew up privileged in Burke, Va., and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. He went on to become a news, sports and traffic reporter in Florida, but soon followed his boyhood dreams of becoming a WWE Superstar.
With the equally-confident Chris Masters leading the way as his WWE Pro, Saxton won’t likely hold back from sharing his vast knowledge with the WWE Universe. Quite comfortable in front of a crowd, and with plenty on his gifted mind, expect Saxton to freely impart his wisdom – and pain – on his fellow NXT Rookies as well.
Yoshi Tatsu - Pro
The skilled, energetic Yoshi Tatsu arrived in WWE as part of ECW's New Superstar Initiative during late June 2009. The Japanese Superstar made an impressive debut, defeating former U.S. and Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin with one swift kick and a pin after plenty of taunting and teasing from The Gold Standard. Tatsu quickly became a favorite of the WWE Universe.
"Graduating" from the Land of the Extreme, the gifted Japanese performer proudly carries the spirit of the Land of the Rising Sun as he competes with WWE's ring warriors around the globe. Showing off his extraordinary kicks and exciting style, Tatsu never fails to entertain WWE fans worldwide.
