On Tuesday we crown our Season 10 winner of Australia’s Next Top Model! Our top 2, Aleyna and Sabine will arrive at the finale location and will be joined on the runway by this year’s top 11, as well as 40 models from all past 9 series. Together, they will put on the biggest, most spectacular runway that Top Model has ever seen. Wondering who’s back? Here’s a quick look!
Gemma Sanderson – The first winner of Australia’s Next Top Model
What’s she up to now?
Gemma is currently based in London and is working full time as a professional model.
Since her win on Australia’s Next Top Model, Gemma’s portfolio has grown considerably and if you’re a fan of ASOS then you’ve most likely seen her as part of the catalogue!
Simmone Duckmanton – Model from Season 1
Simmone came 5th and knew nothing at all about modeling before she auditioned to be part of Season 1 of Australia’s Next Top Model!
We asked Simone what she’s been up to since ANTM…
Since Top Model I have modeled continuously. I moved to Sydney for 3 and half years and worked for many magazines and fashion week. I moved into acting and have focused more on that. I have done a lot of commercials, 2 short films and have played a few big parts on Australian TV. I now also do Hair and Makeup, have my own beauty salon and I have a bar and restaurant!
Madeleine Rose – Model from Season 2
Madeline always dreamt of being in front of the Camera and when she auditioned for Australia’s Next Top Model she got her big industry break!
After being eliminated from episode 7, Madeline went on to Model for around 7 years before turning to the books to study nursing.
Jordan Loukas – Model from Cycle 3
Do you remember Jordan Loukas from Season 3? Jordan was the second runner up in the 3rd Season of Australia’s Next Top Model. Jordan also appeared in a spin-off reality series titled Runway to L.A following her time on the show.
Shortly after a successfully picking up a stack of modeling gigs, Jordan decided that modeling wasn’t for her and moved on to working with an iconic fashion brand in Australia as their E-Commerce Manager!
Leah Johnsen – Model from Season 5
Leah was eliminated early on in Season 5 but she’s not a face you can forget easily. Leah is a successful working model and works predominantly in Australia and in the US. She’s been lucky enough to meet with Victoria Secret and landed US and has been a part of Project Runway Australia, having modeled outfits for one of the shows winners. Named GQ’s hottest women of the week was an incredible for Leah and she’s incredibly proud of all that she’s accomplished so far in her career. Check out these incredible snaps!
Amanda Ware – Model from Season 6
How could anyone forget the winner of Season 6 who almost didn’t win after then-host Sarah Murdoch called the wrong name out on stage? #Awkward. But she’s made up for it since. Based in London, she has walked for countless international designers and is an editorial favorite with all the big magazines including US Glamour, Australian Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Italian Elle!
Izzy – Model from Season 7
How could anyone forget bright haired Izzy from Season 7? Izzy has been working non stop since her time on ANTM but has also taking a break from modeling to work in film! Check our her instagram feed for an inside look at all her recent adventures!
Duckie – Model from Season 8
Nyadak Thot aka Duckie was inspired by older sister Nicki who is model in New York to audition for Australia’s Next Top Model season 8! The south Sudanese Aussie model has gained local and international attention, is an incredibly successful working model and says that being on Australia’s Next Top Model launched her career.
Lucy Markovic- Runner up of Season 9
Lucy took out 2nd place in Season 9 of Australia’s Next Top Model and as the youngest model in her season, she opted to finish off her schooling before launching into modelling career! Lucy is currently signed to IMG Models and has kicked off what’s bound to be a hugely successful career.
