RIP Hunter

DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow – RIP Hunter was once a member of the Time Masters, an organisation who’s sole purpose is to protect the timeline from time travelling bandits. Vandal Savage, one of the greatest threats to the timeline was the man who took away the one thing that RIP Hunter loved most, his family. This was the motivation RIP needed to turn against the Time Masters who refused to help and assemble to Legends Of Tomorrow team.

Portrayed by Aurthur Darvill. 

Arthur Darvill is most recognized for his role as Rory Williams, a companion to the Eleventh Doctor in the fifth series of the BBC showDoctor Who. In 2003, Darvill moved to London to train at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and in 2007, made his professional stage debut during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, in Edmund White’s Terre Haute.

Later that year, Darvill reprised his role in Terre Haute at the West End’s Trafalgar Studios. His performance gained him a Best Newcomer nomination at the 2007 Evening Standard Theatre Awards. In 2013, he took over the lead role of Guy in the musical Onceon Broadway, opposite Joanna Christie. Darvill continued the role in the West End production until May 2014. Darvill also starred as Reverend Paul Coates in the ITV drama Broadchurch.

A musician and composer, Darvill has written songs and music for the Bush Theatre, and composed the score for Che Walker’s 2008 play The Frontline at Shakespeare’s Globe. Darvill had worked with Walker for a number of years since they had first met at RADA, developing the songs and music for the show. Darvill received a Judge’s Discretionary Award from MTM for his music in 2010.

Darvill has undertaken a number of radio and voice projects, including the Doctor Who audiobooks. In December 2011, he played Keith Moon for BBC Radio 4’s Burning Both Ends. In 2012, he voiced Gulliver in Radio 4’s Gulliver’s Travels and Sam in the short film “Penguin.”Less
