Last Man Standing – Ed Alzate is the owner of sports good emporium Outdoor Man, he is very sure of himself and even wrote the book on how to live a man’s life. Ed gives advice to Mike on how to deal with problems both at work and on the home front. Not only a boss, Ed becomes a close friend of Mike and essentially become a role model.

Award-winning actor Hector Elizondo, has enjoyed a steady stream of work in film, television, theatre and radio, for over 45 years. A New York native, he has enjoyed work on Broadway, having received a Drama Desk Award nomination for his performance in the comedy Sly Fox.
Film credits include Pretty Woman, The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3, American Gigolo, Young Doctors in Love, Nothing in Common, The Flamingo Kid, Runaway Bride, Tortilla Soup, The Music Within, Love in the Time of Cholera and Princess Diaries (I & II). In 1997, Hector won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for the role of Dr Phillip Watters in Chicago Hope. Other roles on the small screen include The West Wing, Grey’s Anatomy and Monk.
Hector has also become a strong voice in Alzheimer’s awareness, with his mother battling the disease. He acts as the celebrity ambassador for The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, and strives to inform and educate people through his many public appearances. Hector also supports many other foundations including Amnesty International, The American Cancer Society and The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
