PRETTY LITTLE LIARS SEASON 7B EPISODE 2 RECAP
Welcome back to our weekly instalment of, “My god how much more can these five girls go through?”
Answer: A LOT APPARENTLY.
Alright, let’s recap what went down this ep of Pretty Little Liars.
Grab a treat and take a deep breath because we’re diving straight in.
EMILY IS OUTTA HERE.
Boy does Emily face some trouble in this ep. First and foremost, the devil takes a new form in the shape of Addison. A new character and a student of Alison’s who is also a member of Emily’s swim team. However, Addison is an Alison reincarnate but so, so much worse. She can’t really be described better than that, Troian even weighed in when live tweeting the episode and said what we’re all thinking.
ADDISON < ALISON
Addison, on her reign of terror spots Emily comforting Alison and takes a few sneaky pics on her phone. She then seeks out Paige and conjures up a huge lie stating that Emily makes the girls on the team feel uncomfortable and watches/touches the students inappropriately. Using the photos of how Emily is touching Alison as evidence. Sweet lord. Paige asks for the photos to be forwarded to her and says she will deal with the matter. Paige tells Emily privately what has been said and naturally, Emily freaks out. The plan is foiled though when an email from Addison’s account of her bragging about trying to get Emily fired is forwarded to the Principal and her father. Whoopsie.
Hopefully this is the last we hear from her, but I don’t think it will be. Emily caught Jenna walking away from a meeting with the teenager, insinuating Addison may be working for Jenna and A.D.
SPENCER ON THE HUNT
Spencer contacts Marco who arrives quickly as he was conveniently in the area on a run… (Riiiiiiiiiight that’s a lil suspicious) and she tells him she wants help tracking down Mary Drake and asks for her search to be made a priority. Veronica also breaks the news that they are selling the house. Spencer acts like she couldn’t care less, but WE DO. NOT THE HASTINGS HOME. Hopefully their next house has a better security system.
ARIA AND HOLDEN
Holden and Aria become close pals this ep as she works with Holden in the kitchen on an upcoming wedding rehearsal dinner and she confides in him throughout the process on the Ezra situation. Holden, the absolute sweetheart gives Aria some great advice and stops her from attempting to visit Nicole at one point. I’ll probably regret typing this later but at the MOMENT I trust Holden and think his intentions are pure. *crosses fingers he doesn’t end up in the trunk of a car dead*.
HANNA’S CINDERELLA STORY
Hanna is currently designing a dress for the daughter of a New York Senator. Mona working alongside Hanna finds the perfect dress that Katherine LOVES. Only one problem, a lot of the dress was created from Claudia’s (Hanna’s old boss) feedback. The way Hanna worded it, was that 19/20 of Claudia’s ideas made the finished product. Another problem? Guess who rocks up wearing the dress in white? Jenna Marshall.
Speaking of Jenna, she’s being super sketchy and rocks up to the police station while Spencer and Marco are there. Rosewood seems to be the town for coincidences doesn’t it? Anyway, she (fake) cries and says Noel was trying to kill her and lured her to the school for the blind the same night as the girls. Spencer doesn’t believe this for a second. Marco says they can’t arrest her as there’s no reason to, considering Spencer was shot with a different gun. So, out trots Jenna to cause some trouble yet again.
Hanna unfortunately falls victim to A.D yet again and ends up trapped in a strange cage in a shoe store. A drill slices through the wall behind her and she grazes her hand badly trying to escape. Caleb comes to her rescue and gets her out. Throughout the ordeal poor Hanna gets flashbacks of her kidnapping and is traumatised. Naturally.
IT’S A MAP
The puzzle is a map leading to something or someone. Oooooh.
